Yin is all about increasing your flexibility.
Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas.
Yin is perfect for experienced yogis as well as beginners who already have a good scale of flexibility. In building up to certain poses we can always tailor them to those who are starting out and ensure a good workout without having too much strain.
Yin is also great for rebuilding flexibility, gaining increased movement in high tension joints or in the repairing or physio of injuries.
